Wrong Bible

searched for and ordered the NIV "Biblical Theology Study Bible" by Don Carson. I received the NIV Study Bible. When I searched for the Biblical Theology Study Bible it says I already ordered it.

Bible Roulette

I love the Bible I received! I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous after reading reviews about receiving Bibles that varied from the description, but that also made it kind of fun, like Bible roulette :) so when I opened the package today I was relieved and overjoyed with the one I got!

The most important daily success habit!

The One Year Bible is the perfect way to get back in the routine of daily reading God's word after the busy holiday season. This bible lays out a very easy way to read through the entire bible in one year by just reading small parts everyday. I believe it's the greatest success habit one can practice!!

THE ONE YEAR BIBLE

I LOVE THIS BIBLE. THE DAILY BIBLE READINGS REALLY HELP ME TO READ THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR. I ENJOY THE DAILY READINGS FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT, NEW TESTAMENT PSALMS AND PROVERBS. WHAT A PERFECT COMBINATION. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS BIBLE.

Great transaction

This previously used Bible is in as good condition as it was advertised. I am happy with this transaction and seller. This edition is no longer in print and I was happy to find it.

Easy to understand

I enjoyed this Bible. I have been looking for a Bible that contained the pentecostal/charismatic notes. It also helps me understand the Arminian theological perspectives on different passages of the Bible. This study Bible has great articles like "The ministry leadership gift for the church", "Election and predestination", "sanctification", etc... This study Bible does emphasize holiness. But do not misunderstand this study Bible as a "legalistic" study bible. This Bible does not emphasize that good deeds grants you salvation. But it does emphasize how Christians should live in a dark world and how we are to be a light. I do recommend this if you are looking for a study Bible with pentecostal/charismatic/amrinian perspectives.

An excellent version of the most important book ever

A year ago, I decided that I needed to read the Bible as an adult. After several hours of research and a couple of trips to the bookstore, I decided on the NIV Study Bible - and I was not disappointed. The linguistic style of the book is straightforward, avoiding unnecessary challenging phrasings and making the book a pleasure to read. I don't feel that the meaning was sacrificed for the translation's fluidity, however. The copious footnotes and annotations are perfectly laid out, in a manner that allows easy access to this extra information without interrupting a straight reading of the text. The appendices which sort important verses by topic (such as "selfishness" or "hope") are invaluable for finding important quotes. The various maps, timelines, and book summaries are useful as well. This is an absolutely essential addition to the library of any serious student of the Bible. I highly recommend it.
