Excellent for advanced French review

I used this book over 10 years ago in high school for my 3rd and 4th year and still find it very helpful when I need a refresher. Covers all the basics of grammar (including the subjunctive) and is easy to follow. I used it to place 3rd in the nation on the national french exam and also for review when taking the French equivalent of the TOEFL for admission to universities in France. Definitely recommend it.

For use with an AP class

Although this text is rather old, I find it perfect for teaching advanced and AP levels; one of the marvellous features of this text is the antonyms/synonyms word group section which is a wonder for improving vocabulary; I have never seen this in a Foreign language text before and I think that is the most salient feature of this book because vocabulary is often a lacking element; the text also has good reading selections and covers everything on the AP French Language exam I think this book is a must for teachers. The book has no errors in it, which is rare for a book not written by native speakers.Bonne lecture!
