Promacalypse is the story of the end of the worldErika was getting ready for prom. She's a sophomore, invited by a junior at her school to go with him. When he doesn't show up at her door, Erika storms off, thinking that it was a prank. What Erika soon finds out, is that there's almost no one anywhere. Eerie empty towns cover the landscape, and a young girl she's never seen before arrives on her doorstep: Mava. Mava and Erika set out to make it to safety, followed closely by a band of rogue boys brandishing knives. Will they make it to the city of refugees? Or will they fall prey to the Easters' plans? And where did everyone go at the end of the world? Parents: This book contains some language, and major character death. The suggested reading age is 13 and older. I used language where it felt appropriate. There are fifteen uses of curse words throughout the novel. It may also contain frightening scenes where Erika or Mava struggle or fight physically against their attackers. If you as a parent would like a preview of any of these scenes or uses of language, you can contact my business email, thanks!
