The monograph is devoted to the problem of professional training of musically gifted students. The author thoroughly analyzed the philosophical, psychological-pedagogical, musicological literature on this problem; conceptual approaches to solving this problem are highlighted; didactic principles, forms, methods and means of training gifted students of musical specialties are determined.
