This important book covers the scope of all association programs in addition to important subjects such as governance, budget and finance, membership, and legal issues. I recommend this book to you. Everything the association exec or senior staff person needs, whether you work for a (c)(6) or a (c)(3). If you're studying for the CAE exam, then this is one of the recommended core works from the ASAE. It's a book of readings and, as such, some of the authors are better writers than others. All in all, however, it covers just about everything you're going to need to run an agency, an association, or even a consulting practice that caters to the nfp community. Highly recommended, even if it is priced (and written) like a college text.
