Sam Montgomery was moments away from ending his life when a slip of his thumb changed everything. This journey to becoming whole again makes him question his belief in a God who took his mother away from him at such a young age, and who allowed him to live with a man who was nothing but cruel to him. When his father eventually finds him again, Sam must choose: give in to that which had always saved him and helped him escape before, or let the new man he was becoming be the victor.
