On moonless nights, the perpetrators drift downwards from the sky above in search of prey. Slowly descending in careful circles, dark phantoms passing across a background of faint lights of stars.

Federal involvement by the powers in Washington D.C. dismiss these crimes as below their purview - something to be solved by those out there in our Fly Over Country. It's somebody's else's problem, they've got more important things to do with their tax dollar salaries.
In a remote part of America's Southwest, a small team of ranchers have had enough and devise a way to stop the attackers. Unwittingly, their actions have pulled on a string that quickly unravels the shroud of mystery to expose a far greater threat to humanity than the loss of their cattle.
