We love Priscilla

My daughter is almost 5 and we have been reading and collecting the Priscilla books for the past 6 months. With it's Dr. Seussish cantor it is a fun read and one we will come back to every year for many to come. The illustrations are adorable as always. This is a great addition to a holiday book collection.

An original and modern christmas adventure

Priscilla and the Great Santa Search is a creative and entertaining addition to the Priscilla series and is a "must-have" for young girls this Christmas season! Disappointed by the fake Santas at the mall Priscilla, never one to pass up an adventure, and her friend Bettina set out to find the real Santa at the north pole. Along the way the rhyming text introduces us to creatures "on the top of the oddity chart". Braving a storm and snapping pictures with their digital camera the girls make it to the North Pole but do they find Santa? Only after zooming in on their pictures do we find the answer. My niece was thoroughly entertained and loves all of the Priscilla books. The text is fun to read and the pictures are beautiful!

Sweet, Fun, Girly, & Funny!

I bought this book for my little girl's first Christmas this year. I couldn't wait to read it to her. She's only 2 months old so I doubt she'll remember that we read it before Christmas. :o) The pictures are absolutely adorable-- so detailed and fun! The story is precious and I love the rhymes. They are not simple words that are obvious rhymes. They are funny and unpredictable. I highly reccomend this book to anyone!!

I really liked characters they encounter on their journey and the illustrations really add to the story. Jocelyn and Nathaniel Hobbie are the daughter and son of our bestselling author/artist, Holly Hobbie. Jocelyn holds a B.F.A. from RISD and works for a contemporary art dealer in New York, NY.
