There are so many ways that we learn to be a Public Servant, but the first way is to be open to what is happening around us and recognize our path and our core. In becoming a Noble Public Servant, we must be willing to give all of ourselves and give up whatever is required to get to the next level of serving. This is not easy for the Public Servant, but it is necessary to obtain what is next. Being a Noble Public Servant requires that we let our ego, our fear, and our will go. Nobility comes from a place of standing in our today with the mindset that nothing belongs to us. This is the true shedding off of self that defines a Noble Public Servant. We are not our own.
