I created this story when my daughter Zoriah was a baby, and told it to her verbally
almost every night. And now, 7 years later, this modern fairytale comes to life in print
I sincerely hope that all of you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed making it, and the
memories I will cherish in my heart forever. Someday, Zoriah may become a Mother and
she too will tell this story. If she does, a part of me will always be there.
