Made for reading out-loud (hysterically)

This has to be one of the funniest kids' fairy tales to date with plenty of jokes for the parent to savor while kids will enjoy the adventure. Pricess So-Wise and Rapunzel are on a quest to save their uncle from nasty Wichella. On the way, they meet the Queen aka The Miller's Daughter (what IS her real name, by the way, and does she have a legal case of duress against whatshisname that little guy who spins straw into gold?) Lots of fun here, and this book is absolutely MADE to be read out loud. If you are looking for something charming yet fun for bedtime, I think "Princess So-Wise" will fit the bill. I got a huge kick out of it and assume anyone from five to eighty-five will, too.

Imaginatively written by Kathleen Dorantes and very highly recommended, especially for young readers ages 8 to 13, Princess So-Wise puts new twists on the traditional fairy tale princess stories.

I'm in the 5th grade and enjoy reading very much. This was a great book and every kid should have a chance to read it. I started it one night and finished it the next day, I couldn't put it down. It's funny, creative and imaginative. Ms. Durantes surely has a talent for writing childrens books and I hope she will write more.

This is a Great Book!

This is a great book! It is not so often a children's book makes me roll with laughter, but this one did! It is witty, funny, and makes young girls rethink their idea of the life of a Princess and happily-ever-after's, which is so needed to be done! Bravo, Ms. Dorantes! Will there be a sequel? Can't want to find out about the continuing adventures of Princess So-Wise!
