Great elementary/middle school aged series

Really great series for younger children. It goes through topics in an age-appropriate way and follows Mia as she is growing up.

Princess Diaries Adult Fan

After seeing the movie, I decided to read the books. I have become an adult fan of the Princess Diaries series. I just love this book. I have a teenage friend who I have passed these books to. I really think that she will love it.

"Princess In Waiting" is a winner!

In this fourth installment of the hilarious Princess Diaries series, Mia is finally in Genovia over her winter break to be introduced to the Genovian public- where her daily schedule includes activities such as "Dedicate new modern wing of Royal Genovian Museum of Art," or "Outing with Monaco's Royal Family, Royal Genovian Yacht," and the never-ending princess lessons with Grandmere. But Mia's introduction doesn't go quite as anticipated- the Genovians weren't expecting her to be talking about how installing parking meters is a big issue! Separated from her boyfriend and true love, Michael, Mia eagerly counts down the days in her journal until she can return home to Manhattan and live her normal life again- with the exception of the princess stuff, of course. So when Mia gets back, she gets especially excited when Michael asks her to a screening of their favorite movie, Star Wars, on Friday night. But once again, Grandmere steps in and declares that Mia must go to Contessa Trevanni's ball the exact same day of Mia's date with Michael- and now, Mia is sure that Michael will dump her after she breaks him the news. From Mia having to deal with Grandmere taking her out of school early to get a gown for the ball to Lilly telling Mia that she has a talent that she hasn't figured out yet, Mia's life as a freshman at Albert Einstein High School during the second semester is filled with ups and downs! A wonderful sequel to "Princess in Love," which will have fans eagerly waiting for Book #5.

It just gets better

I am a huge fan of the Princess Diaries series. Once again I was impressed. I feel like I know Mia by the end of each book. I loved the suspense in this one as she waited for her trip to Genovia to finally be over so she could return to fat louie, her mother, Lily, and of course Michael. I have yet to spend more than 24 hours on any of Cabot's books. Once I start I can not get away. I hope there will ba another book in the series.

Another Star!

Meg writes another hit. Princess Mia is in turmoil over whether her boyfirend loves her or is in love with her while arguing over issues like getting parking meters in Genovia and what to say to Prince William at a Polo tourniment. I found Mia's activities in Genovia and her cousin Rene highly amusing. Her obsession over whether Micheal really loved her got old after awhile but that's what real teenagers are like. We obsess over stupid things. What I really liked were the Jane Eyre concepts, Mia and Lillie's lists, and Mia's struggle over what her hiddden talent was, when it really was staring her right in the face. All in all this was a WONDERFUL book. I loved it as much as all the others. And I can't wait for the fifth Princess Diaries book.

Princess in Waition

this was the bes' book eva! Princess Mia is in Genovia, meeting people and going to boring tea parties, and meetings. while giving a speech to the people of Genovia, veering from the prepared script and going on about public parking meters, Grandmere is now going to give her more princess lessons! The worste thing ever! also meeting here cousing Prince Rene. Well barely even her cousin. he's been what, eleven hundred times removed? He's a prince, but no longer allowed to set foot on his native land by Italian law. he, i'd like to point out is not a very, well he is nice, but he just seems kinda irritating. he pisses me off really, not until the end though. returning to New York was not only good, but also bad. you see, Mia must return to New York with Grandmere to give her more princess lessons and her father isn't coming because he has to solve the problem about public parking meters! but returing home means seeing Michael! She hasn't been calling Michael for a while on a count of Grandmere gave her a book called Jane Eyre. Grandmere said that Michael should be the one to chase after her, not her chasing after Michael. she also wants to know and keeps worrying if Michael loves her just as a friend or if hes IN love with her. when she gets home, she instant message him and he just asked her out! Ohmigod! next day, when picking Lilly and Michael up, he asks her if she could go cuz she had ta ask her mom, and she could, and he kissed her!! For reals! No lie. But, as always, skool isn't the best. Lana as always, bugs Mia, and now the whole skool knows that Mia and Michael are together. Mia, does the most greatest thing ever. She crushes Lana's cell, but now she's suspended for like, a day. Princess lessons are the worste. Guess whos here? Rene!! I mean, whats he doing here?! Don't he have skool? Not only that, but, Mia has to bo to a black and white ball. ON THE SAME DAY AS HER FIRST DATE WITH MICHAEL!! What's she gonna do? and not only that, but she has to go with Rene!! Now go and buy the book, or if your short on cash get to the library ASAP! cuz you this is the bes' book and the ending, well lets just say its a GREAT one, and, she also finds out what her talent is and it was right in front of her nose!
