Lauren Christenson has been an educator since 2007. She taught high school English and coached before becoming a school librarian in 2014. She grew up in a family who loved to read. The impact of reading has stayed with her throughout her life. She found her love for picture books while reading to children as an elementary librarian. She married a high school football coach, and they have four children. She is the author of the book "They Call Him Coach." She lives in a small town in Texas near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
