Stupid, so stupid.

A 13yr old boy somehow has 40 hard killers that follow him around and take orders from him out of fear..... murderous knights and thugs and cutthroats fear what a boy whose balls just dropped, could physically do to them, no magic, nothing, just by kicking their asses..... Jorg is essentially invincible and a super genius, but somehow got there without any real training and after only being alive for, 13yrs. It's written well, way better than say, Joe Abercrombie, who's somehow popular. Just stupid. A anti-hero that is never in any type of trouble he can't handle, who happens to be a terrible person, 1st person narrative that leaves all other characters feeling 1 dimensional. Jorg reminded me of Nero the roman emperor.

Surprising

You want a good guy? This isn't the book for you. There are no good guys. It was a book I had trouble putting down. You may feel sorry for Jorg for a second but only a second.

Dark, Gritty, Delightful

This is a grimdark fantasy that makes no apologies for the anti-hero at its center. I is a very violent and dark story, so don't start it thinking there will be any warm and fuzzies by the end.
