Prime Time Walking and Talking with God

By Roy W Cordes

When was the last time you took the time to walk with God? When you got up this morning did you talk to him? Using outdoor church signs, humor and spiritual insights Prime Time Walking & Talking With God speaks to your heart about your daily walk with the LORD.

Author Roy W. Cordes was an elementary Lutheran School principal for 33 years in three different cities in Illinois. After his retirement he became "The Voice" of the Kankakee Community College Cavaliers athletic teams for 18 years. His life experiences as a minister of religion and the knowledge that there were only two human beings who have entered heaven without dying; Enoch who walked with God and Elijah who talked with God every day of his life as an Old Testament prophet, offer encouragement for improving your relationship with your Savior. Each chapter will give you the opportunity to use your prime time to walk and talk with God.

Can you think of a better way to start each day that the LORD gives you? Look in the mirror and say, "God, there is nothing that you and I can't handle today " Find a place to read the Word of God, this book or other devotional material, spend time singing or in prayer, and then before you start your schedule for the day, sit and listen until you can hear yourself breathing. Walking and talking with God, no matter what time of the day it is accomplished, can give you a new look at your life living here in God's created world. Knowing that Jesus is walking by your side makes all the difference in the world.
