Primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases in Uzbekistan

Heart attacks and strokes are usually acute events and are mainly caused by a blockage that prevents blood from flowing to the heart or brain. The cause of heart attacks and strokes are usually the presence of a combination of risk factors, such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet and obesity, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol, hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidaemia. We have developed a project for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. In this regard, it was studied: 1. Health situation analysis 2. Issue as priority on the incidence of cardiovascular disease. The aim of this project: decreasing of mortality and morbidity from cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in Uzbekistan. training of personal, improving the awareness, community motivation, screening, evaluation methods of SSR, SCORE scale use technology. Based on the results of the study, we developed this strategic project for achieve a reduction in mortality and morbidity from cardiovascular disease.
