When a rainbow disappears, the sun comes out and warms the sky. Picking up directly from where things ended in "The Rainbows Sparks," Matt has to face a tragic loss. Matt's rainbow disappeared, and he must find his place before he can warm his heart. With recently being outed in the media, Matt also has to quickly accept that he is now someone others will look up to when it comes to being gay in sports. Finding a balance between personal and professional life can sometimes have its struggles. When things like losing someone you love, becoming isolated, and forgetting your purpose, life can almost seem too challenging to handle. Matt, a young long snapper turned punter and kicker, has much to deal with. Without relying on others, he must find a balance not to allow his pain and grief to trample his every move. Matt must remember who he is and the man he wants to become.
