Felt fresh and engaging

This book impressed me because the plot seemed unforced and fresh even though it travelled through standard romance novel situations. I hope this author writes more books - I read a lot of romance novels and *really* like only about 10% of them. This is one of the books I read twice because I liked it so much.

A real gem

I had never read a Mandalyn Kaye book before, but this book convinced me I will read one again. It didn't come off as being formulaic. There was nice wit and intelligence in the characters. It's a keeper.

The best book I've read all year.

This is an incredibly great book! I loved every minute of it. The hero and heroine were exciting, sympathetic and wonderfully crafted. I would recommend this book to anyone I know. I don't have enough good things to say.
