Priced for Perfection

The evening was priced for perfection. Big Sid, Mike and I were at The Channel Arena for the final stop of Fred and the 4Js Beer and Music Tour. It was a motley crew, the three of us, as would be expected. In addition to long-established standard-bearers, the band might surprise with well curated reworkings of the masterpieces of others, and statement attire for our viewing pleasure. Tenements and Midtown Rents would be on the playlist for sure, but what about Echo Bay or Concert Confidential? Lost in the music, we'd save the intermissions for critiquing the performance, and how it compares with earlier concerts we've attended. However, daydreams began to flow, leading me to regret the absence of friends who are no longer with us. Lo, the apparition might return as well.
