James Wheeler was a 35-year old man who started off as a soldier in Afghanistan. Returning to his hometown, he worked as as a high school teacher before finding that job was too restrictive for his desires to explore things. He later tried being a policeman, but found that was too restrictive, too.,
Following a friend's advice, he studied for his state Private Investigator license and with that in hand, opened his office in the downtown business district, where he hired his adopted cousin, Betty, as his secretary.
Little did he know then that his cousin would be his partner and the both of them would end up shutting down the biggest criminal element of their city. That is, before they realized they loved each other.
