Preventing business difficulties

With the adoption of the Uniform Act on September 10, 2015, on the new conciliation procedure, in Grand Bassam, C te d'Ivoire, the OHADA legislator has made available to companies in the region a tool enabling them to effectively resolve any difficulties they face. Managers whose companies encounter such difficulties are called upon to act with diligence. A conciliator will be chosen to enter into negotiations with the various parties involved, with the aim of reaching a concordat. Solutions will then be found, whatever the level of damage to the economy, to avoid the sudden disappearance of the company, which is expected to recover in the long term.
