NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Without her alter-ego Erika Jayne, Erika Girardi says she'd just be "another rich bitch with a plane"--so get ready for the dishy, tell-all memoir from show-stopping... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is a fun page turner ill give it that. However, as a big fan of RHOBV and of Erika's as a person, reading this years after it was written is slightly disappointing knowing what we know now. The way she portrays her husband (girardi) in the book versus what has been said of him after leaving him, makes her come off as inauthentic, purposely trying to fraud people and paint him in a positive light at the time of writing. She obviously didnt really think he was all love and light (if you follow the show and what she has publicly said abo their relationship in hindsight). One of the reasons i love EJ is because of her authenticity and 'this is me take it or leave it' attitude, and the fact that she felt she needed to lie about her relationship when this book was written just disapponts me. But the book itself isnt bad, its a good read dont get me wrong. Just makes me question the factual relevance concerning other things written due to the romanticizing of her 2nd marriage.
