Like it!

I buckled down and decided to give this book a try, I heard so many people recommending this book and so many people were hyping this book up. First, the beginning is rather normal slow, I would say the first almost half of the book. Second, the book is very twisty like what is going on get to the point, you end up finding out who it is pretty early on in the book, which I felt wasn’t very thrilling, there’s another couple of twist to it but it wasn’t very thrilling either. Lastly, this book isn’t all the hype people are talking about, it’s rather boring but good. I did like the book but it was also very disappointing because a lot of people made it out to be such a great book something everyone should read and honestly it’s good just didn’t have the same hype for it as most people. You should read it however knowing so early on who it is and wondering what the point is on finishing the book just finish the book towards the end it was great, it had closure.

Girls.

Wanna sell more books…..put the word “girls” in your title. Wanna read a great thriller…skip this one and read Meg Gardiners Unsub series.

Great book, tho graphic

Wow. I was not excepting this book to be so graphic and violent. It was sad and disgusting to read. Though it had a good plot with lots of twists. I like what the different POVs had to contribute to the storyline. This book is not for the faint of heart.

Amazing

This is a great book I recommend it to everyone always! It’s gruesome but super good! Good twists!

Too much violence and repetitive!

I listened to the audible and did not read the book. I thought it was over wrought and unnecessarily violent. I like this author but got frustrated with what seemed to be going on and on and on about a specific incident that could have been better revealed more succinctly.

Really Good Mystery

This one is so good! The suspense will kill you. Who doesn't love a really solid mystery? A sister goes missing without a trace. Another girl goes missing, could they be linked? This one is a really good mystery and keeps you guessing until the end.

Proceed with caution

I had no idea that this book was so gory or graphic. This story really sat in the back of mind and in the pit of my stomach. I won't read this book again because it was very unsettling. But if you are a fan of the Law and Order; SVU show then this is for you.

Such a great book!

Karin Slaughter can do no wrong! This book will have you feeling every single emotion there is. You feel terrible for how peoples lives turn out and when secrets start revealing themselves, you will never guess whats coming! I believe my jaw was on the floor by the end of this book! Buy it now!

Really exciting read

Had my heart racing more than once. I haven't read a book like this in quite some time. Although sometimes got a bit confused as to what the protags plans were. However I've never had a book nearly bring me to tears so moments of light confusion def don't bring down the quality at all.

Worth it.

Chilling and exciting

This was one of the best books I’ve read in awhile. I adored the characters and there development and there were tons of shocking twists. Very disturbing read.

Good enough

I've never read a horror or thriller book before, more into fantasy but decided to give it a try since I really enjoy horror movies. This book didn't start off strong for me, it was a bit predictable. About half way through it had a twist I actually wasn't expecting and I started to enjoy it much more after that point, and it kept me interested. Could do with less description of the gore, not that I have an issue with gore but I feel like the book relied too heavily on it and didn't make the leading antagonist seem as scary as they should have been.

Not for the faint of heart!

MAJOR trigger warning for anyone who is sensitive to rape, torture, or trauma. This is one of the more graphic books I've ever read, but it is SO good. Had my heart racing on more than one occasion.

This book was great!!

I wasn’t expecting this book to be so dark but it was incredibly written! It was my first read by Karin Slaughter and definitely not my last!!!

Amazing

Could not put this book down. There were so many twists and turns, throwing you one way and then another. The author really kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would be uncovered. Although the book is sort of disgusting in terms of the findings, it is such a thriller and a huge page turner! Loved it!
