Who am I this time?

TV Series 1996–2000 86 episodes In Season 2, episode 7, three minutes into the program, a reporter on TV says a landmine clicks. This is the most common, boring cliché. Everyone knows that landmines do not click; they blow up. A pilfered child, Jarod (Michael T. Weiss) is incarcerated in an institution, as he has the irritating ability to be someone in any profession at a whim. He escapes and periodically leaves clues throughout the series as to where he is. How does he survive? You guessed it: by making smirking smiles and manufactured identities as various professionals. Will he get caught? Do we care? Do they really care? What is with the cliffhanger ending? The Pretender ends on a cliffhanger because NBC cancelled it early to air XFL games. TNT tossed in a couple of follow-up movies. 86 episodes sound like binge time. And do not forget to kibitz.
