Not my mother’s pressure cooker

I purchased an 8 quart stove top pressure cooker over 6 years ago. My A1C became elevated to 15. It was brought to my attention that I had previously purchased this pressure cooker. The manufacturer stopped making pressure cooker. I am happy to say this pressure cooker had dual safety mechanisms that my mother’s old pressure cooker did not have. I needed recipes that would expand my knowledge of foods I can cook. This book gave me new ideas. I prefer a stove top over an electric pressure cooker. My last A1C was 5.9. I changed my diet and I can see and feel a difference.
