A treasure hunt of the heart.

Don't be fooled by the title. This book is not just for singles. It's for anyone looking for purpose, love, fulfillment, or a place of belonging. Patti takes you along on her personal treasure hunt as she finds all that Jesus prayed in John 17:20-26 for the Father to give to those who will become his disciples. Patti found love when she discovered that God loves her as He has loved his Son. She found purpose and fulfillment in the perfection of oneness with God through Jesus. In her journey Patti finds her new home where she belongs with Jesus in His Kingdom. Patti has found the Kingdom of Heaven and it's in her heart. In this book Patti obeys her commission to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, and she does it by candidly sharing her own experiences in finding oneness with Jesus.

What a true heart for Jesus Patti has!!

My husband and I met Patti a few weeks ago and we both fell in love with her heart for our Lord, Jesus Christ. Then I read her book and see even more how much she loves Jesus and how deeply and passionately she wants to share Him with everyone! I LOVED this book. It made me cry, laugh and feel such great joy and peace. What a loving and merciful God we serve!! Patti does a fantastic job at relating to her audience whether married or single, she teaches what is truly important in this life here on Earth and how wonderful and forgiving and readily available Jesus is to each one of us. I thank God for that canceled flight to Omaha that day so that God could bring this precious woman into our lives and allow us to experience Jesus' love and grace in a brand new way! Thank you Patti for your obedience to your calling and for what you suffered through in order to bring this book to so many who will be blessed by it. Awesome stories of God's love and faithfulness

This book is great for any audience! Single, married, divorced, whatever. Patti is such a great writer, her use of words is captivating. I laughed, I cried, but most of all, I saw God's love and faithfulness. Reading how God has revealed Himself to Patti and how He has used the trials of life to take her to a deeper place of intimacy with Him is very encouraging to me. I know that God wants us all to know and love Him deeping and sincerely as Patti does. As I have walked through a valley of darkness, the Lord used Patti's words to help me see glimpses of light along my path. Thank you Patti!

great motivator to really trust God

Press Play is a book about learning what contentment really looks like, but not by gving me a bunch of 'how to' formulas for reaching contentment. But rather, by one woman honestly sharing her heart's struggles and joys and allowing us to see into her growth process and journey into God's heart. After reading Patti's book and hearing her stories, you will want to trust God more!

Loved this book!

Fabulous! I purchased and finished it last evening as it is a page-turner! It is a must read for every 'single' person you know at any age/stage, and I think married people will enjoy it as well. Patti is a precious single woman and really shares her heart while seeking to glorify God with each chapter! I laughed, cried, smiled, related. It is an encouragement to all who walk the path of singleness and ultimately find the true lover of our soul! :)
