The media have a role to play in maintaining the balance of society and being socially responsible, realising the interests of the community in which they operate. As such, journalists must have a thorough knowledge of the story they want to publicise, based on research that will allow them to predict the phenomena. In a brief history of the advent of the media in the human race, although there are different interpretations of the world, we can say that the media were more aimed at improving man's own life: in his work, interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, among others. However, due to the dynamics of human history and the social changes that have naturally occurred in all aspects, its initial background has also been distorted.
