Throughout the United States the Christian religion has been receiving a free pass from the media, from the schools, and from politicians for decades-and even from the Supreme Court in recent years. It's now about time for those of us on the other side to make our case. Hence this little book. I hope to open some eyes and some minds to another way of looking at the world free from the smothering presence of unchallenged Christianity.

My intended audience for this book is young people who have been exposed all their lives to ceaseless favorable propaganda extolling the virtues of Jesus and of the Christian religion. I in no way question the right of parents to rear their children in whatever religious tradition they prefer. But I do question the relentless and uncritical acceptance and endorsement of Christianity by public schools and by the mass media.
