This highlights the true essence of management consulting, which can be defined as a subsystem derived from a larger system aimed at enhancing efficiency and improving the performance of various entities. It achieves this by transforming their values and directions, ultimately leading to improved performance and increased effectiveness.

The importance of management consulting, in its contemporary sense, has emerged prominently in the modern era, as previously mentioned, due to factors such as technological advancements, the growing scale of entities, both economic and non-economic, the rise of multinational corporations, the expansion of joint-stock companies, and changes in employee habits and attitudes.

Additionally, the need to motivate employees to meet development requirements and the competitive pressures to serve clients or consumers by delivering goods or services of appropriate quality and price have further underscored its significance.

Moreover, in emerging economies, or what were once referred to as developing countries, consulting has become an essential element of management. This necessity is driven by the aforementioned global and local changes, the imperative to transition from traditional to modern scientific management approaches, and the shift from reliance on others to self-reliance.
