Predicting Tillage Effects on Soil Physical Properties and Processes
No Customer Reviews
There is an increasing awareness in the U.S.A. and in the world that much of the current level of agricultural production is being achieved at the expense of our nonrenewable soil resources. We can no longer afford to ignore the fact that past and current losses in soil productivity have been largely masked by an increased technological base. This is not to diminish the importance of past technological advances or our need to continue to develop new technology. Rather, we must develop the kind of technology that allows us to at least sustain and hopefully expand our level of agricultural production and at the same time help regenerate rather than deplete our soils.
