Preconditions of return and reintegration for IDP's

Based on finding and literature review, ensuring successful return and reintegration, can be achieved when the original cause of displacement has ceased, and physical security of returnee area has been restored, To ensure successful return and reintegration, its mandatory to make sure that the original cause of displacement has been ceased, physical security of returnee area has been restored, willingness and wish of displaced community to leave the IDP camps have been respected, forced return and reintegration must be avoided. In addition, ensuring a smooth transition from lifesaving humanitarian response to development-oriented assistance and provision of essential or important services (such as water, medical aid, and schooling) giving due attention to gender mainstreaming, disable inclusiveness. Ensuring provision of right to protection, education, and health care for youth, unaccompanied/separated children. Availing required counseling and psychosocial treatment provision, right based response, and sponsored resource for IDP's return process. Depending on the needs of IDP and their interest, proposing durable solution for IDP's living in collective site.
