This book is as great of a resource on types and metaphors, as Bullinger's book (Figures of Speech used in the Bible) is on Figures is. This is a well researched book, with the best typological outline I've ever seen. This book is very thought provoking yet balanced and which demonstrates sound theology.
A great book on typology in the Bible

This book is an asset to any preachers library. You will refer to it repeatedly when constructing sermon outlines. A great text for college typology courses also.
