Many of us start out with the will and the desire to pray for our marriage and family. However, before we can see the manifestation of what we are praying for we feel drained, hopeless and lack confidence to persevere in prayer. At this point it seems as if we are experiencing more issues and intense warfare than we started with.As we see all the time, many wives are being defeated in the battle for their marriage. This is not because of the lack of power, but because of the lack of knowledge of the power they possess. The key to this knowledge and walking in the power given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ, is accessed through effective and fervent prayer. Jesus disciples ask Him "Lord teach us to pray"? They understood that there was a pattern to effective prayer, and they needed to learn that pattern. If you are going to be effective in praying for your marriage and family, or in any area of your life you must have the foundational understanding of prayer.The foundation is the strongest part of a structure. Once you have a strong foundation everything else will be solid. In this book "praying wife", is the foundation of effective prayer. The information that I share is what helped me to build a strong prayer life, not only in my marriage but for my entire life.
