Life-changing information

While this book was written in 1993, it puts a fresh face on prayer and touches on issues that may very well hinder our prayers. I read it and completed the workbook solo, but I can see that it makes a great group study guide that does not require a designated leader but focuses more on group sharing.

Very Practical, Enjoyable Book

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this devotional book. There are 9 studies which each include a topic (such as "Focusing on God's Character"), a bible passage illustration the topic, and a sample prayer. There are also many prompts for group discussion. This book gave me confidence that I was praying more accurately and more in accordance to God's will; therefore it made me even more bold to approach the throne of our God in prayer.
