In God We Trust

Dutch Sheets has hit this one out of the park. You may remember Dutch from last year as he encouraged Americans to pray for the election of 2000. He felt that we were at a crucial time in America's history, a turning point that could change the course of the nation. It was only a few weeks later we found ourselves in the battle of the vote count. God knew who He wanted as president, but it was up to us to pray for the right outcome. Now we find ourselves in another crisis of even greater national and global proportions. Dutch Sheets says in this book that America was founded as "One nation under God" and yet we have strayed away from our original purpose, lost our vision, abandoned our morals. It is only through prayer and dedication that we will find our way once again. God wants to bless America, but it is hard for him to do so until we humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways. It is only then that He will hear from heaven and heal our land.
