A Pleasure to Read in a Quiet Moment

I love this book. It is so peaceful and beautiful--just a pleasure to read in a quiet moment to help set a calming mood. And it makes a great gift because it is simply a lovely object. The book contains many spiritually based quotes from all different sources that are set next to radiant and unique photo-images. The images are intriguing--they are almost visual poems, rich with symbolic objects. And they are truly beautiful, with luminous colors and stimulating varied textures. By juxtaposing them with the quotes, the text and images nicely compliment one another. They work to indirectly imbue the other with a deeper meaning. The photos add a visual interpretation for the text, and the text adds subject matter for the symbolism in the pictures. It makes a nice balance and a book that is a pleasure to flip through.
