Support for these who don't always believe prayer helps

I found this book to be encouraging on many levels. It was helpful to have stories to supplement the guiding concepts about prayer that Ms. Sand explains in every chapter. Finding that another woman has experienced and survived what she has was also supportive. I found myself caught up in her life and then went back and re-read her beliefs about how life-changing prayer can be.

A confidence builder for those new to prayer

What I most got out of "Prayers of Faith" was Faith Annette Sands' utter conviction, backed by striking and fun examples, that prayer really works. I now approach prayer with a new confidence that God hears -- and responds. My spiritual life has gained new depth. I find prayer ever so much more satisfying when it's a two-way communication. Any serious reader of "Prayers of Faith" will come to prayer with a renewed intensity.
