Just what I needed!!

Having known Tracy at my church for almost 3 years, she was the one who actually made me see prayer "out of the box". This wonderful book takes that conversation to a higher level and it allows others to benefit from a more personal relationship with Christ by understanding that prayer doesn't have to be a formalized process. Perfect for Praying Without Ceasing

365 suggestions for praying that cover virtually every situation you may find yourself in during your day. I started by going through the book from start to finish, reading a few prayer starters each day. Then I changed my technique and picked it up at odd times during the day and opened it in various chapters to see what suggestions were there. Everywhere I turned in the book, I found inspiring and practical suggestions, Scripture passages and short meditative stories. They had me remembering to pray and even praying without thinking about my duty to pray. The book is full of good ideas. Some of them I remembered thinking about long ago and now wondered why I had forgotten to put them into practice. Thanks to this handy daily reminder, I'm getting back on track. I am a visual person. I love pretty things, so Prayer Starters is particularly appealing to me. It is small enough to fit easily on my desk, nightstand, coffee table or the car seat - always available to pick up when I have a moment. It has wonderful illustrations in beautiful peaceful colors and an attached ribbon to mark my place.

This book was written for me!

This book was written for every mom who desires to have a closer relationship with the Lord but also has a busy life with a home, husband and children to take care of. There are prayer ideas in here that you can continue to do all of the things for your family and yourself (like working out) and involve the Lord in all of it because you are communicating with him through it all. What a great example that is to our children as well. This book as already increased my prayer life and my closeness with the Lord. I love it because you also don't read it an then your done with it. You can go back to it when you need a little inspiration.
