This book is part reading plan, part prayer guide, but mostly journal. The book is divided into four weeks, so that you can read an entire book of the Bible in one month. Each week has five days of readings and prayer prompts and then a sixth day to use as reflection on the week that has just passed. Use the daily prompts to guide your prayer time in a way that reflects the passages of the day and the "My Prayer" space to record both the blessings and the trials of the day. Use the reflection time to look back at all the places and times God has met you during the week and complete any catch-up reading you may need to do.

Phillippians 4:6 says, "Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." The aim of the Pray the Word series is just that... to be a tool that helps you create space and time to go to God in prayer each day and to serve as a reminder of all the ways God has met us in both our joy and our pain.
