Excellent Product

new to the Goddess?

Barbara's book is an excellent place to start. I consider this a 'must have' book in any collection on the Goddess.

Don't buy this if you have her earlier book.

I am an admirer of Ardinger and I thought I was buying a new book. Instead this is an abridged version of an earlier book entitled The Women's Book of Rituals and Celebrations. If you haven't read that book, you will like this one, but you will miss out on the rituals that are part of the earlier book. I was saddened that an author I respect allowed this type of marketing. I gave the book four stars despite this because if you have not read the previous book, this abridged version is good.

Dr. Ardinger is a witty and trustworthy guide to the world of the Goddess and Goddess worship today. Like Brother Lawrence, the mystic who inspired her title and who found God present in the smallest and humblest details of life, Sister Barbara invites us to find and celebrate the Goddess everywhere, everyday, thus finding renewal for our spirits and the power to transform our world. Her style is a pleasure, pithy, humorous, and wise. Recommended for beginners and longtime practioners of her presence.

This one's a GEM!

This small, deliciously lovely book packs in more Goddess wisdom than I've seen in books 5 times as large over the last dozen years. I'm buying one for every woman on my holiday shopping list and I suggest you do the same. Your friends will appreciate it, whether they are Goddess women or not!
