Best book I know on its subject.

I graduated from Cal Berkely with honors in electrical engineering. A few months later I found myself on a construction site in Northern Ontario. I couldn't read the drawings, I didn't understand how industrial electrical systems are built and I didn't know how to interpret the theory I had learned to the work I was doing. I wish I had had this book back then. I visited this site today because I am trying to find resources for a young engineer to make up for what he didn't learn in school.
