nclex book

needed this book for studying the seller had it for a good price and it was shipped to me at a reasonable lenght of time, got it in time to study for my test

Just Passed my NCLEX...

To prepare for my NCLEX I could not afford to take a class so I bought this book and the Kaplan Strategies book. This book was amazing, the review sections were extensive and clear and the questions were very similar to the ones I saw on my NCLEX. The CD questions were also very good, even though there were a few errors, but it helped me to pace myself and how to answer alternate style questions on a CAT. I would recommend this book to everyone!

Very good review book

I really enjoyed using this book to study for the NCLEX. I liked the layout of the book. It presented the questions on the left of the page with the rationales on the right. It also broke the book up by topics which was helpful for reviewing certain topics. The questions were PRACTICAL and down to earth, unlike some of the other review books I own. The only thing I didn't like was sometimes the rationales didn't make sense. They didn't give enough detail to understand why the answer was correct. I did find a typos in which answer was correct. Other than that, it was a good book. I highly recommend it to study. I passed the NCLEX and am a RN!

Complete Review for NCLEX-RN (Delmar's Complete Review for NCLEX-RN (W/CD))

Very complete and detailed content review with lots of review questions including alternate format questions. Rationales for both right and wrong answers are clear and concise. The content review is more extensive and the questions are at a higher level than the ones in Saunders. By using both this book and the Saunders Complete Review, I got an A on my last exam!!!!

Good start

I recently passed the NCLEX and I highly recommended this book to my friends who are about to take the exam. I read the NCLEX reviewers by the NSNA, QUE/Rinehart, Saunders (Comprehensive) and Mosby (Comprehensive); in my opinion, Gauwitz comes closest to simulating the real exam. If you want to get a feel of the actual NCLEX, this is a good place to start. The first book to read: Kaplan Strategies. The Second: Gauwitz. The questions are on the left, and to the right are the answers - very well layed out.
