Valuable visuals to supplement level 4

PMP 4 follows the scope and sequence for Math Lessons for a Living Education Level 4, minus the 6 weeks of review that the main course includes. Four quizzes that are to be taken throughout the course would be easy to include in an end-of-year portfolio if required by your state. Worksheets of PMP 4 can be used to solidify concepts the student may be struggling with. The entire book would not necessarily need to be completed but individual sections and pages could be used to solidify concepts the student needs further help in. In some instances the worksheets give a clearer visual of the concept than the student workbook. For example, in the PMP book, a rounding mountain visualizes if a number should be rounded up or down, houses with fill-in-the-blanks are used for reviewing fact families, step by step cards can be cut out that help break down how to do mental math problems, and another visual shows the value of Roman numerals. Solutions for all worksheets and quizzes are provided at the back of the book.
