I've been reffering to this book for years and it continues to be the best and most practical ortho book for the non-orthopods.

Escellent reference text for primary care givers.

This text was recommended to me while in school and has proven to be an essential reference for primary care. Topics are easy to find at a glance and the subject matter is succinttly written. The book is especially valuable for those practitioners just starting out in practice.
