Practical guidance based on the 'Five Dimensions of Performance and Learning'

As part of this practice-based research project, eight practical training supervisors from various departments at the BKH St. Johann i.T. were interviewed using a structured guide about their experiences of supporting pupils during their practical training. The aim of the study was to assess the current situation and determine the extent to which the 'Five Dimensions of Performance and Learning' are already being addressed. The results serve as the basis for developing a standardised approach to practical supervision at the BKH St. Johann i.T.. The findings from the interviews made it clear that support during the direct application of theoretical knowledge to patients, and the personal dimension or interpersonal situation, are of particular importance in practical supervision.
