I'm keeping this book for sure, who would want to turn it back in for a mere eight dollars and lose out the best study skills for college?? I've certainly found a valuable source other than a teacher with this book. About a month ago I made flash cards of the 10 memory principles and I'm beginning to see their pattern of integration in my study habits such as basic background, association, mental visualization, and soon, meaningful organization. I'm in the process of trying Cornell notaking with my U.S. History 17 class. It's working wonders so far. The suggestions are great, and you can alter these methods to fit your study style and time management as well.
