In Deuteronomy 8:18 we read that before the Israelites entered the promised land, Moses said to them that they must remember [with profound respect] the Lord their God, for it is He who is giving you the power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers.
This book is based on the teaching of Gary Keesee titled "Fight Like Heaven" I titled the book "Power To Make Wealth" because it describes the contents of the teaching in line with Finances.
Pastor Gary refers to the process of making wealth as fighting like heaven, but his teaching is an answer to our financial crisis: being in debt, fearful, and unemployed.
But through this teaching, we start learning what it is we must do to live financially free from debt and unemployment.
Here is what Pastor Gary said:Fight Like Heaven well that's a great title and Pastor Drenda my wife, talks about standing up for yourself, your family, and your finances.
But you have to know how to fight like heaven.
In other words, how do you fight like heaven?
The enemy has some tactics and he's going to try to trap your finances.
You have a sword remember Ephesians 6:17 says that we must take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
You need to know how to take that sword and use it.
I want to go back to Luke 4 with you for a moment, remember in Luke chapter 4 Jesus just came out of the River Jordan baptized by the Holy Spirit, and in the first verse it has an interesting phrase that used to confuse me.
It says that the spirit of God led Jesus Into the Wilderness to be tempted by the devil, and for a long time I thought that this is one of the weirdest scriptures I've ever read.
I want to look at the Temptations that Jesus had to fight against because that is going to help us fight like heaven for our finances.
