Where did Michael Aleksiuk go after writing this book?

An (overly) ambitious book, "Power Therapy" tried to present a comprehensive view of human nature and evolution. It built heavily on the work of Stanford Professor Albert Bandura under the concept to "self-efficacy". It also proposes a method of self-help for depression modeled in large part on Twelve Step programs. The essence of the treatment method is to do something, anything, that gives a sense of accomplishment even if only a hobby. Belief in God is viewed as a therapeutic superstition better seen as a belief in a Higher Power that had evolutionary value. The book was published in 1996. Google searches do not show any signs of what happened to the author subsequently. The Power Therapy Institute in Edmonton Alberta, of which he was the Director in 1996, does not seem to exist any more. The quality of the thinking was mixed. Some insights were profound and thought-provoking, in my opinion. Other parts of the book I thought were rather amateurish and easily refuted.
