This is not a theoretical treatment of Intercession. Kaye writes out of her own experience and this gives authority and power to what she shares. Some of her insights are breathtaking. The author writes with clarity. There is no mistaking her meaning. Even complex issues such as the relationships among soul, intellect, will and emotions are treated simply yet with complete accuracy. One of the delights of this work is the use Kaye makes of contemporary and near-contemporary events, persons and objects to illustrate the points she is making. Her images are original and all the more telling for that. For example, she explains how our personal sins can badly affect the lives of others through the image of silk threads on a loom. Elsewhere she throws light on Paul's description of us as clay pots by referring to the Japanese art of Kintsukuroi. This one of those books that is near impossible to put down once you have started reading - a true page turner.
