Research Before You Buy (Referencing the 1-star review above)

This book is not at all written by someone who practiced the faith of the Pennsylvanian Dutch immigrants of their folk beliefs. It actually has ZERO to do with Native Americans and one would have known that if they did a simple google search before they bought the book. The term pow-wow in this sense has to do with the practicing of "pow wowing" of the Dietsch people. This book has zero information about Native Americans because it is not about them -- as the authors name should tell you. The book is more commonly known as Long Lost Friend without the Pow-Wow title
Why this book was only given three stars was because this isn't the greatest of books on the subject because there is little to no organization or explanation. But it easy to know this isn't about Native Americans.
Waste of paper

This book has pages with 1 sentence.
Ex: a very good remedy for wild fire.
Wild fire and the dragon, flew over a wagon, The wild fire abated and the dragon skated.
So...there is your cure?
If I had known 99% of this book is nonsense. I would not have bought it. I was mislead by the title and info. I was looking for a healing book of Native American remedies...if you are looking for book of poetry and prayers then this is your book.
Otherwise its a waste of your time and money!
